Zoo for Trees began in late 2009 under the name City Lights when guitarist and frontman, Jason Crook, joined forces with
drummer Jon Brown. Soon after, they added bassist, Brandon Brown, and lead vocalist, Katie Putnam. After one year, and many a name change, City Lights became Zoo for Trees.
